New Deputy Editors – 2024
The European Radiology Editorial Team is excited to introduce the new members of the Deputy Editors team, Drs. Hatem Alkadhi, Rolf W Günther, Roh-Eul Yoo, and Giulia Zamboni.
Hatem Alkadhi is the current Vice-Chair at the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology of the University Hospital Zurich. His expertise is cardiovascular and emergency imaging with a focus on computed tomography. He serves as the president of the scientific committee of the Swiss Society of Radiology (SGR-SSR) and the European Society of Cardiovascular Radiology (ESCR). He will lead the specialty section of Cardiac Imaging.
Rolf W Günther currently works as a researcher at the Department of Radiology of the Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin. Before, he was the Chair and Director of the Department of Radiological Diagnostics at the University Hospital of RWTH Aachen. He has been involved in the European Society of Radiology being President of the European Congress of Radiology (ECR, 2000) and of the former European Association of Radiology (EAR, 2001). He will lead the specialty section of Vascular-Interventional imaging.
Roh-Eul Yoo is a Clinical Associate Professor at the Seoul National University Hospital. Before becoming Deputy Editor, she was working as Junior Deputy Editor in European Radiology. Her research interests include advanced MR imaging techniques such as DCE and ASL, brain tumors, and glymphatic system. She will lead the specialty section of Head and Neck Imaging.
Giulia Zamboni is an Associate Professor at the University of Verona. She also has a special interest in education, being the chairperson of the European Society of Oncologic Imaging (ESOI) and member of the Education Committees of ESR and the European Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology (ESGAR). Her main areas of interest include hepatobiliary-pancreatic imaging and oncologic imaging. She will lend her expertise in the area of Abdominal Radiology to our journal.
